To honor TU’s milestone anniversary and further their work, we present the Limited Edition Hardy TU Tealweight.

Crafted in Alnwick England to exacting standards, it features a stunning deep “Teal Green” anodized finish

with a hand polished nickel silver line guard combined with the 1972 check mechanism.

Ideally suited for 3-4wt rods, the simple, classic, and functional design offers

The original Hardy Tealweight series was designed in 2001, a classic freshwater fly reel, these special versions of Hardy's legendary "lightweight series" reels were introduced initially as a special range for the Japanese market.

The Tealweight III was based on the Hardy Featherweight reel, and this reel now forms the basis for the new, limited-edition TU Tealweight. Perfectly matched to a 3 wt or 4 wt line the TU Tealweight is an ideal reel for light trout fishing with a shorter rod.

Manufactured in Alnwick England, featuring a unique serial number, hand polished mirror finish frame anodized a deep Teal green and a satin silver finished spool, the cosmetic appeal of the Tealweight is unmatched in classic style click check reels.

The reel is fitted with an adjustable click check, 3 screw latch cover, hand polished Nickle silver single screw line guard, polished brass handle post and is engraved with the TU "Trout" logo.

Supplied in a Hardy reel case with special packaging and hand signed maker’s card.

Only 300 reels will be produced, each sequentially numbered. With each purchase, Hardy donates $100 to Trout Unlimited to support their vital conservation efforts.
